About Bausum & Duckett
We are a merit shop electrical contracting firm employing approximately 100 people and have been established in business since 1960. We have two offices to serve you. Our main office is located in Edgewater, Maryland and we have a branch office serving the Delmarva peninsula. We have capabilities in all types of electrical work which includes residential homes, apartment projects, commercial and industrial buildings and emergency service. We also have in-house design / build capabilities. Our geographical area includes, Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C. and Virginia.

Each employee of the month is selected due to his or her outstanding attendance, dependability, knowledge and hard work. Each employee of the month stands out in a crowd filled with all of our outstanding employees.
Educational Opportunities - Every year several of our employees attend apprenticeship courses sponsored by IEC Chesapeake and Sussex Tech. Courses also include continuing education classes for related subjects. These are included in our benefits to employees as we provide financial support for related classes.
Activities - Bausum and Duckett is an employee focused company. Every year we host a company party. We believe in giving back to the employees that help make us successful.

Spotlight On Safety - Safety gets top priority at Bausum and Duckett. With pre-employment substance abuse screenings, weekly safety tool box talks, and monthly job site inspections, we provide a safe working environment for our employee's. Our safety program is also supported by a third party independent inspection agency.
We are active members of the IEC ( Independent Electrical Contractors ) with participation in the Chesapeake and Delmarva Chapters. We are active members of the Anne Arundel, Salisbury, & the Delmar Chamber of Commerce's along with the Eastern Shore Builders Association.
